Evolution 2 and Evolution 3 are new ranges of upright refrigerator and freezer cabinets from Friulinox.
The Evolution 2 cabinets have been designed to give an increased internal volume space of around 4% above equivalent-sized models. This has been achieved by moving the evaporator outside the cabinet storage area. The control panel has 15mm digits for better visibility. It is also fitted with a built-in HACCP alarm which can be connected to a remote personal computer for remote control of the machine. The condensing water dissipation is completely outside the cabinet which prevents smells and the indirect air vent prevents food drying out.
The Evolution 3 refrigerated cabinets feature new technological controls including a choice of adjustable information menus available in five languages and is equipped as standard with an HACCP device. This records temperatures, has an alarm with buzzer and an infra-red window for use with an optional two-way radio receiver.
It also has an internal humidity control which is adjustable from 60% to 90% to ensure the ideal ambient temperature for delicate food. Its self-diagnosis and function recording system prevents loss of efficiency of the refrigeration system and informs the user with a message on the display. Its intelligent defrost function adapts to real-time conditions.
Manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel both internally and externally, other features of the Evolution 3 storage cabinets include a top-mounted compressor and condenser for additional energy efficiency; radius internal corners and removable shelf supports for easy cleaning. The shelf slides facilitate easy access to the cabinets and the door can remain open at 110¡ for easy loading.
Both the Evolution 3 and Evolution 2 cabinets have 75mm insulation which contributes towards environmental and energy savings, as the cabinets are foamed with a water-based injection system which has zero impact on ozone depletion.
