WS1 wash-hand-basin

Mechline has introduced a wash-hand basin that it claims has lower carbon footprint than those manufactured from stainless steel.

Engineered from a single-piece, moulded, high-grade polycarbonate ABS plastic and available in white and grey, the BaSix Polycarbonate WS1 Wash Hand Basin is ergonomic, durable and has no sharp edges.

The outer dimensions are 355mm x 320mm x 195mm, while the bowl measures 255mm x 278mm and is 100mm deep.

SaniTru antimicrobial additive embedded in the basin material resists build-up of mould, mildew and grime to provide a surface that is easier to clean.

The basin is available with standard CaterTap basin taps or can be supplied with knee valve system or the Delabie Tempomatic 3 tap as a hands-free system that promotes hygiene and water savings of up to 80%. A splashback is optional.
