C-Line energy-saving dishwashers from Hobart

Hobart has launched a new series of dishwashers which it claims can save operators as much as 30% in energy usage costs. The C Line series, comprising three distinct model ranges, washes up to 320 racks per hour.

All the machines in the series are fitted with full-width, counterbalanced and insulated doors with easy-to-use controls.

The CS features Easytronic controls for simplicity and ease of use with minimal switches and buttons.

The CN features Smartronic controls with colour-coded machine status indication and constant temperature display, while the CP models feature Protronic controls with touch-screen to allow quick and easy selection of functions and accurate temperature read-outs displayed continuously.

While all the machines in the C Line series have low rinse-water consumption from just 230 litres per hour, the CP machines feature ultra-low rinse-water consumption from just 160 litres per hour, saving water, energy and chemicals to deliver low running costs.

The Contact wash system is available on all machines in the C Line series. The CS models feature 4+3 wash arm configuration, delivering total rack coverage, while the CN and CP machines have a 6+5 wash arm configuration for a more powerful wash system to ensure food soiling is removed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Both the CS and CN range of machines have an optional energy-saving C12 heat exchange condenser which is capable of recovering waste heat from the exhaust, reducing energy consumption. The CP machine features a C20 heat recovery system as standard and also includes a DS low-energy high-speed dryer, for ultimate efficiency, and hot temperature washing, providing increased detergent performance to clean ware faster. This allows CP models to operate at 40% higher speeds than a standard machine.

The CN and CP machines both feature a detergent-saving bypass system, reducing detergent consumption by up to 75%, and also an optional vent-free heat pump system, improving the working environment and reducing energy consumption.
