Dim T

Fledgling restaurant company Tasty has made a profit in its first six months of trading.

The Dim T chain owner, which listed on the Alternative Investment Market in July, made a pre-tax profit of ₤90,000.

Turnover at the four-strong group was £1.15m.

Dim T, which recently opened a site in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, has signed contracts on another two locations, one of which is at More London, the 13 acre business district between London Bridge and Tower Bridge.

It is expected to have as many as eight sites by the year end.

Tasty has also raised an additional £3m through a share placing, which will be used to increase the pace of roll-out and establish a central kitchen for the group.

Dim T owner Tasty is backed by Samuel and Adam Kaye the brains behind Ask and Zizzi, as well as their Catey winning father and Garfunkel’s creator Philip Kaye.
