New lease of life for Taverna

Friday 29 September 2006 15:44

A new lease agreement has been signed on the Taverna on Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow.

The Taverna historically has a reputation for serving Greek food, but in recent months had tended to concentrate more on wet sales. New tenant, Bernadetta Corvi, plans to reverse this trend following a major refurbishment of the premises.

The Taverna is well placed to attract new clients, with a prominent position across from the park on the south side of Glasgow.

The property was marketed at a rent of £40,000 per annum and ingoing costs of around £35,000 plus VAT. The agent was Creevy LLH.
