Bathgate's Cairn hotel has a new general manager. Trevor Duffy has 20 years' experience in hotels and hospitality and comes to the 61-bedroom Cairn from the four-star Menzies hotel, Glasgow, where he was deputy general manager.
He began his career at Fisher's hotel in Pitlochry and then spent three years in Australia.
He came back to the UK to the Rusacks hotel in St Andrews and then to the Menzies group.
