Win 'The Kids' Multicultural Cookbook' from Bernard Matthews

Hong Kong Sweet and Sour TurkeyGet Travelling Day, part of November's National School Meals Week, has been designed to open schoolchildren's minds to global cuisine, increase school meal uptake and encourage kids to cook themselves.

Turkey supplier Bernard Matthews Foodservice, which is sponsoring the day, has developed a set of downloadable Get Travelling Day recipe cards to help school caterers incorporate global flavours into their menus.

The recipes also demonstrate the versatility of British turkey as a healthier, low-fat substitute for other meats in a range of ethnic dishes from chillis to curries. For instance, the Hong Kong Sweet & Sour Turkey (pictured) uses the group's new Big Green Tick Diced Turkey Thigh while its Roast Turkey Breast Chunks top the Pisa Turkey Pizza.

To highlight the campaign, Bernard Matthews is giving away five copies of The Kids' Multicultural Cookbook: Food and Fun around the World which is packed with 75 ethnic dishes that can be cooked by Foundation Stage to Key Stage 4 pupils, along with a host of games, cultural traditions and customs from around the world.
