Tom Aikens to design desserts for Wembley

Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens is to create an exclusive dessert menu for the new member’s club at Wembley Stadium.

Under the deal with Wembley’s exclusive caterers Delaware North Companies, Tom Aikens will design a range of signature desserts to be served in the club’s Corinthian Restaurant.

A Corinthian Club member and Manchester United fan, Tom Aikens said: “As a chef I have always felt that there is a lot of room for improvement with the quality of hospitality on offer at football grounds. By teaming up with Wembley and the Corinthian Club I will be able to combine my love of football and music with my passion and expertise for food.

“To see my desserts on the menu there will make me very proud,” he added.

Wembley Stadium’s managing director Alex Horne said: “We wanted to be able to provide exceptional hospitality to match the quality of first-class events staged at Wembley. We want the best of everything for the Corinthian Club and Tom Aikens is at the very top of his profession.”

Delaware North has a 25-year partnership with the stadium.
