Calum and Ally Richardson Dobie are the new owners of the Inn at Loch Ericht, an historic Highland inn reputedly visited by Queen Victoria in 1861.
It is located in the Inverness-shire village of Dalwhinnie, which is famous for its distillery, half-way between Inverness and Perth.
Its rural setting within easy reach of the Cairngorms makes it popular with hill walkers and fishermen as well as visitors to the Highlands.
The business comprises 27 en-suite bedrooms, a lounge with a central dance floor and seating for 28, a split-level 36-seat restaurant, and a separate 27-seat bar with timber ceilings and Hagstone floors.
The Edinburgh office of Christie & Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £465,000 on behalf of previous owner Stuart Hutton, who ran the business under management.
