Ozone test kit from Ozone Direct

While damaging to the lungs in high concentrations, ozone is successfully used by industry as a quick, cold disinfecting and rinsing agent. For example, food processors use it to wash fruits, vegetables and equipment in place of chemicals and heat, while caterers often resort to ozone-based systems to break down kitchen odours. Ozone Direct has come up with an entry-level testing kit that will allow operators to work out the best concentrations and exposures for a task without having to pay hefty sums to outside laboratories. The ST-01 will produce small, controlled quantities of either dry ozone gas or ozone dissolved in water for testing purposes. For instance, samples can be rinsed in ozonated water drawn from the reactor, or exposed to the liquid or gaseous ozone inside the reactor. The kit costs less than £1,000 to buy and £250 a month to rent.
