best of the web

A round-up of the best bits from the web.

The web is awash with reports that Gordon Ramsay plans a new restaurant in Chicago (previously reported) and according to Harden’s, St Ives in Cornwall, which is definitely of the "out there" variety.

The Press Association has more on Ramsay’s Chicago venture, which is due to open next year.

Kitchen Rat has fun with a tale of a meal deal scandal at the Hilton on Park Lane.

Hotel Blogs has a hotel check-in video set up (basically how outrageous and poor can you be before a guest quits), courtesy of YouTube which is rather funny.

There’s also a link to the 10 coolest hotel suites in the world.

And the ever entertaining Waiter Rant explains the folly of caving in to pushy customers.

For the latest Best of the hospitality web visit the Caterer Blog and to keep up with industry gossip, quirkies and news take a look at Kitchen Rat.
