– Landmark Catering Opportunity –

National Museums Northern Ireland is inviting suitably qualified and experienced companies to express interest in the provision of catering and hospitality services at the Ulster Museum, Belfast. The Ulster Museum will reopen after a £17m refurbishment later this year with outstanding catering and hospitality potential:

One fabulous fully fitted restaurant and café, including:

  • New cutting edge kitchen able to service 300 covers.
  • Fully fitted self service lunch counter.
  • Stand alone fully fitted café facility.
  • Exquisite 145+ seated restaurant and café area.


The Ulster Museum will reopen as an iconic capital city attraction and will bring together a group of award winning museums attracting up to 800,000 visitors annually. Visitor numbers to the Museum are expected to exceed 300,000 per annum with additional potential to meet the local breakfast, lunch and dinner market as well as an exciting corporate and event catering agenda.

A Supplier Suitability Questionnaire pack will be sent to all companies applying. Those candidates who are successful will progress to the
tender evaluation.
