Breakfast beans from Heinz

Baked beans are a great way to start the day to stave off the irritability and fatigue that can follow fasting, and their low GI rating and high fibre content means they release their energy slowly and keep the consumer full for longer. Research by Heinz has shown that breakfast is the most important occasion for eating its beans, with 67% of customers including them in a full English breakfast and 54% preferring them on toast at the start of the day.

The Heinz Baked Beanz range includes a reduced salt and sugar option that is available in 415g and 2.62kg tins and has 30% less salt and 25% less sugar than standard Heinz Baked Beanz.

Heinz, whose Tomato Ketchup and HP Brown Sauce are well-known to consumers, also stresses the importance of good-quality condiments as part of the breakfast offering and says that every 100g of Heinz Tomato Ketchup is made from more than 126g of the finest tomatoes.
