Wednesday 30 May 2007 06:03
KM30 icemakerKM Compact back-bar ice-makers now being made in China by a Hoshizaki Japanese workforce are expected to enter the UK market this year with a competitive price tag but otherwise similar standards to other Hoshizaki machines. Machines use vertical stainless-steel evaporators and have front-sited air filters. Ice production rates per 24 hours in normal ambient conditions are: KM30 - 32kg, with 12kg storage; KM50  - 52kg, with 20kg storage; and KM70 - 63kg with 31kg storage. The ice cubes produced are long-lasting crescents, and machines are sold with a comprehensive two-year warranty.
