Carry-case/work station from Eating Art

Wednesday 30 May 2007 06:08
The Any-Place carry-case from Eating Art enables chefs to transport their preparation board and tools securely, then quickly converts to a work station when required. The case, impregnated with Microban antibacterial agent, can hold an industry-standard colour-coded 18in x 12in chopping board, plus knives held in an internal wallet. Double locking with an exclusive Camlock key maximises security.

When opened out for use, the unit has non-slip rubber matting on the underside to prevent movement. Hunching and twisting problems are reduced because regular working height is raised by 10cm when the board is placed on the case.

As a chef, Eating Art's owner, Cavan Boyle, suffered back problems, which led him to develop this product, for which patents have just been finalised. Price (excluding VAT) is £159.99, including machine-washable sleeve, shoulder strap and internal wallet for knives.
