Küppersbusch Cook & Look drop in units

Küppersbusch, a leading German maker of domestic and commercial kitchen equipment, has reasserted its presence in UK catering by opening new showrooms in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in April. Its product line now available to UK caterers ranges from cooking appliances, heavy- and medium-duty suites and cook-chill systems to fridges, freezers and bespoke serveries.

Combi-ovens come in a full range of sizes, from the diminutive Piccolo (holding three x 2/3 gastronorm pans) to 20 x 2/1. Ovens offer hot air, steaming, combination and low-temperature modes. AutoCooking can be programmed with up to 170 tried-and-tested recipes and can memorise customised programmes via a simple-to-use ColorLogicControl panel. Other features include triple glazing, two-step safety door lock, humidity measurement and sensor controls, automatic HACCP documentation and remote control.

Küppersbusch units are available in the Premium-Line 850 heavy-duty series, built to an 850mm depth and including pressure bratt pans, and the medium-duty 750mm deep Combi-Line series, comprising 54 electric, 23 gas and 15 neutral appliances.

The latter series can be specified with an all-in-one, hygienic, 3mm worktop. Several gas-fired appliances use new gas-injection technology based on powerful modulating fan pre-mix burners designed to obtain fast start-up, 85% efficiency and low carbon monoxide emissions.

In serveries, modular construction enables Küppersbusch to build counters in an extensive range of colours, materials and finishes, including wood, glass and cast stone. Cook & Look drop-in units enhance front-of-house theatre with maximum interaction between chef and customer.
