Beem electric samovar from Gilberts

Wednesday 30 May 2007 06:20
A novel way of promoting tea to breakfast guests and widening the beverage menu is provided by Beem electric samovars. Available in a wide range, from traditional Russian designs to modern cylindrical shapes, units are fully portable and claimed to be more reliable than urns by ensuring water is at a constant temperature of 98.5°C. They can also be used as water boilers. A non-drip tap with tilting lever dispenses the hot water.

Models are available in 18/10 stainless steel or gold-plated with a matching decorative teapot stored above the samovar if required and kept hot via the accompanying steam. For self-serve, individual teapots can be used.
