Six-minute full English from Lincat combi

Wednesday 30 May 2007 06:32
According to Lincat, six minutes is the average production time for all items - bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast - needed for a cooked English breakfast when using an Opus SelfCooking Center combi-oven in snack/breakfast mode. Eggs can also be fried in large batches using non-stick MultiBaker trays now available in 1/1 gastronorm dimensions at £61 each.
Programmes are also available for cooking scrambled eggs and baking croissants and breakfast pastries. The SCC series comes in 12 models, from 6 x 1/1 to 20 x 2/1, with prices from £6,825.

As well as grills, griddles and warmers, small Lincat appliances suited to breakfast needs include mirror-finish toasters in four- or six-slot versions. Both models have multislot selection to conserve energy at off-peak times and extra-deep slots to accommodate larger slices of bread, with an anti-jam scissor action. Prices are £153 and £189. Conveyor toasters are available at £724.
