Floating fruits from Frubob

Frubobs will be a boon to caterers who want to offer something different from fruit juices with mashed-up pulp or blended smoothies. They combine 100% juice with real fruit pieces, providing a burst of flavour when bitten.

The drink, popular in the Middle East, was "discovered" by 35-year-old heart surgeon Christopher Davies while on holiday in Qatar. He believes he is the first to launch the concept in the UK, but has opted for a healthier version claimed to be the world's first fruit float drink with no added sugar.

Frubobs are made from still fruit juice and real fruit pieces in three flavours - orange, peach and pineapple. They are sold in 250ml cans packed 24 to the case.
