Abel Lepitre Lanson line

Founded last September to import new  spirits and soft drinks into the UK, Drinks Corporation offers two exclusive 12.5% abv Champagne ranges from Lanson Champagnes along with offerings from smaller houses such as Hélène de Choiseul.

The flagship of the Abel Lepitre Lanson line of Brut Cuvées is the Cuvée 134, a premium 100% Chardonnay blend from the Côte des Blancs that was created in 1961 by Jacques Lepitre.

The Champagne has an aroma of lime flowers, lemon balm, bitter oranges and quince and a taste of citrus, white peaches and raisins. Drinks Corporation has a guaranteed capacity of 65,000 bottles for 2008. This line also includes Brut, Brut Millésime 1997, Brut Rosé and Blanc de Blancs.

Petrot Bonnet is the second exclusive Lanson range, with a Brut Cuvée made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes to produce a bouquet of redcurrant, morello cherry and quince.

It is also offered under the Veuve Candel label, which includes a rosé option.

Bibby handles distribution and warehousing for the company.
