The new Tierra Carmenère Rosé varietal, made exclusively for Matthew Clark by Chilean winery Carta Vieja, was selected and blended by the drinks wholesaler's purchasing director Charles Crawfurd MW.

The new Tierra line uses the Carmenère grape - which is related to Merlot - to provide a juicy, ripe style with strawberry fruit.

Its introduction coincides with a new label design for Matthew Clark's exclusive line of on-trade Chilean varietals, which include a Merlot, an Unoaked Chardonnay and a Sauvignon Blanc.
