Maven Wines Sauvignon Blanc 2007

Maven Wines Sauvignon Blanc 2007 from New Zealand's Marlborough region scooped a gold medal at the International Wine Competition during the London Wine Fair in May, which attracted a total of 9,000 entries.

The judge's verdict on the winning wine was "Pungent herbal spicy core. Chalky gooseberry and herb palate. Good length and minerality."

Maven Wines is just into its third vintage, and its gold-rated Sauvignon Blanc is sold to the ontrade through Waverley TBS.
