Château Pontet Bagatelle Coteaux d'Aix en Provence 2007

Three new wines with summer appeal have joined the line-up of unusual European offerings at affordable prices imported by FromVineyardsDirect.

Clos du Portail Graves Supérieures, Bordeaux 2005 is essentially a Sauternes-Barsac wine at a fraction of the cost of its famous neighbour, the adjoining Château Coutet Premier Cru Barsac. The sweet and viscous wine - an equal blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon - is sold in 37.5cl bottles.

The award-winning Château Pontet Bagatelle Coteaux d'Aix en Provence 2007 is a fruity, medium-bodied, peachy-pink drink from the South of France that is a 90% Grenache wine with a litte Syrah.

Italy's Umbria district is the source of the third newcomer, Rocca di Tufo Orvieto DOC 2007. A dry, crisp creation from Giovanni Dubini, it is the signature wine of the Palazzone estate.
