Japanese drip teas

Morihan, from Uji in Kyoto, is a family tea company that has been producing Japanese tea since 1836. Drip Teas are the latest innovation from the firm, long associated with products that bring together the finest Japanese tea traditions and the latest trends.
Drip Teas combine the fresh taste of tea made in the pot with the simplicity of tea in a bag. Designed to give two cups of Japanese tea, Drip Teas simply need to have hot water poured through them.

Chef's comments: "This tea is a really innovative speciality product. The cardboard sleeve opens to reveal a tea pouch, which rests over your cup, allowing you to pour the tea into the pouch, leaving water to 'drip through' the tea leaves to infuse.
"The tea itself is of a fantastic quality, with a really convenient and imaginative method of infusion." – Mark Read, corporate head chef at London’s Mango Tree restaurant
