Ice-creams and frozen yoghurts from Criterion Ices

Blackberry Yodel frozen yoghurt

Criterion Ices, a Suffolk-based maker of traditional dairy ices since 1920, pioneered the development of yogurt ices in the UK as early as 1986. The family-run business uses fresh cream from local herds, British sugar and natural flavours from specialist suppliers.

There are 15 flavours of ice-cream, including Vanilla, Vintage Marmalade, Belgian Chocolate, Brown Bread, English Strawberry, and Cinnamon & Honey. The Yodel range consists of four fruit flavours - Blackberry, Mandarin, Mango and Raspberry - and is made from live low-fat organic yogurt.

Chef's comments: "All three of these ices are amazing. They have really great flavours, a perfect consistency and certainly give the 'wow' factor - simply delicious." – Mark Read, corporate head chef at London’s Mango Tree restaurant
