Apple and raspberry juice

Chegworth Valley, with its hand-pressed fruit juices, has received more Great Taste Awards than any other drinks manufacturer, including a further two gold awards this year for the Organic Cox Apple and Apple & Rhubarb varieties.

With two generations of experience in growing fruit, the company decided to start making pure fruit juices so it could control the quality from blossom to bottling, and now sells a range of pure apple and pear juices and special blends using its own raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants, blackberries and rhubarb.

Chef's comments: "Chegworth Valley uses a good-quality authentic glass bottle with a label showing images of people hand-picking the fruit, giving it a real personal touch. There was a natural residue at the bottom of the bottle, which you would expect, and the Apple & Raspberry Juice has a really light flavour that isn't too sweet or heavy." – Mark Read, corporate head chef at London’s Mango Tree restaurant
