The difficulties of finding a steak sauce with a unique flavour that does not smother and obscure the taste of the meat has prompted Heinz Foodservice to launch its new HP Steak Sauce.

The rich, piquant, subtly spiced sauce can be used in a variety of ways. For example, it can be combined with Stilton and used as a glaze on fillet steaks, served as an accompaniment to sirloin steak, or used as a sauce for a rump steak sandwich with caramelised onions.

Available in two-litre containers, HP Steak Sauce is being launched into the food service sector ahead of retail.
