Ollie Couillaud launches the Lawn Bistro in Wimbledon Village
The former head chef of Bord'eaux at London's Grosvenor House, Tom Aiken's Tom's Kitchen and La Trompette is opening a restaurant today in Wimbledon Village, London.
Ollie Couillaud is launching the Lawn Bistro in conjunction with restaurateur Akbar Ashurov, on Wimbledon Village High Street.
The focus of the menu at the 70-seat restaurant will be seasonal French food, with nods to British and Spanish cuisine, reflecting Couillaud's rural French upbringing with his Michelin-starred experience.
Average spend for the set two- or three-course menus is expected to be between £25 and £45 per head.
The newly renovated restaurant has been created by designLSM, with grey colours and graphic prints intending to provide an understated, chic vibe.
