Lahore Café Bar opens third outlet, with 15 more planned
Yorkshire food operator Lahore Café Bar is set to expand, with the opening of a third outlet, in Leeds, and a further 15 planned in the area over the next five years.
The company, which was founded in 2002, currently has two sites in Bradford and this week opened a new Lahore Deli in Leeds.
The 25-seat outlet serves an all-day menu offering Asian and international dishes ranging from milkshakes to curries, fish and chips and lasagne. It provides a dining, deli bar, takeaway and delivery service as well as corporate catering.
Shakoor Ahmed, managing director of Lahore, said: "This is a really exciting time for our business.
"We saw a gap in the market for an accessible and relaxed Asian food offering and our success so far speaks for itself. Opening our third store, in Leeds, is the first step in achieving our goal of having 15 outlets in the next five years."
He added that the company had earmarked towns including Dewsbury and Wakefield and was hoping to also open a second site in Leeds.
Lahore also incorporates a corporate catering division covering the M62 corridor with clients including Marks & Spencer, Wincanton, HSBC and Yorkshire Water. It also recently provided the catering at an event hosted by boxer Amir Khan at the Bolton Reebok Stadium.
