USP This is a first foray into flavoured waters by Highland Springs, which has been bottling water from a protected organic source in Perthshire's Ochil Hills since 1979. The sugar-free beverage - which follows the launch of the unflavoured Hydr8 line earlier this year - contains only natural fruit flavourings and less than eight calories per bottle.
Fact The flavoured water market is growing by around 8% each year (Source: Kantar, April 2011). Meanwhile, value waters account for 12.3% of total water sales and are growing at five times the rate of other waters (Source: Zenith International, 2011).
