Ecofuel chafing fuel in a can from Kavis

EcoFuelEcoFuel is a high-performance chafing fuel in a can that combines the heat of a gel with the burn time of a wick to provide longer, safer, waste-free cooking times.

It is made from 100% biodegradable and inert materials that are safe with food and will burn without odour for up to four hours in cooking mode and six hours in warming mode.

EcoFuel offers a wider plume than a wick and does not burn down into the can. It lasts longer because it is easily reignited for multiple uses until the fuel is consumed.

The product was developed as a portable heat source in the USA where it has won numerous commendations from the country's health and fire departments.

The Craft Guild of Chefs in the UK has endorsed the product after rigorous health and safety checks that included punching holes in the can and tipping it over while burning to ensure there was no leakage or spillage.

Temperature is adjusted via the dual-function lid.
