Kerrymaid, Kerry Foodservice’s dairy brand, has won a gold medal for its vanilla Dairy Flavoured Ice Cream Mix in the Complete Mix category of the annual Ice Cream Alliance Awards.

The winning mix was officially launched at Ice Cream Expo earlier this month, along with a Cornish Ice Cream mix.

“We have had the product on trial this summer and after excellent customer feedback from various food service channels, we used the show to officially launch the product onto the market and we hope that this accolade will provide an added boost to sales,” said Kerry Foodservice marketing manager Anthony Wilkinson (pictured left with Kerry technical manager Steven Taylor).

The mixes, which contain no hydrogenated fats and sell to caterers in 12 x one-litre tetrapaks, are made at Kerrymaid’s Omagh factory.
