Bord Bia offers free VIP tickets to the 2013 Bocuse d'Or in Lyons
Following a rigorous and lengthy selection process by its International Organisational Committee, Irish beef has been chosen as the meat ingredient for the final of Bocuse d'Or 2013.
The 24 candidates for the world's most prestigious competition will be able to use their culinary skills and imagination to highlight the excellence of quality assured, grass-fed Irish beef fillet.
Henry Horkan of Bord Bia, the Irish food board said: "Our partnership with the Bocuse d'Or 2013 builds on our strategy of working with leading chefs across the globe, raising awareness of the quality of Ireland's meat and food products.
The 2013 edition of the Bocuse d'Or will be held during Sirha in Lyon, on the 29 and 30 January, and will bring together 24 countries selected in the national and continental heats. Twenty-five years after its creation, the Bocuse d'Or remains the international reference in gastronomic cooking competitions.
To celebrate this association, Bord Bia is offering 10 VIP tickets to this prestigious competition, the tickets provide entrance to the VIP area which gives access to the competition area and a great view of the kitchens where the top chefs will be competing.
