Mini cereal packs from South-west producer Dorset Cereals are now being distributed to caterers by Universe Foodservice. The range includes mini cereal packs, low-fat Naturally Light Flakes mini packs, eight mueslis, a range of porridges, and Chunky Slices to eat on the go.
The seven 100g mini pack recipes, supplied in cases of 18, including Fruit, Nuts and Seeds; Really Nutty; Super High Fibre (blending toasted cereals with Chilean flame raisins, dates, sunflower seeds, toasted coconut, apricots and roasted hazelnuts); Super Cranberry; Cherry and Almond; Organic Fruit, Nuts and Seeds; Tasty Toasted Spelt; and Berries and Cherries (containing raspberries, blackcurrants, cranberries, blueberries and cherries with Chilean flame raisins, sultanas and cereals), also available as a mini variety pack.
Three Naturally Light Flakes 100g mini packs include Figs and Grapes; Cranberries, Cherries and Raspberries; and Pomegranate and Cherries.
The 50g Chunky Slices include Cranberry and Almond; Date and Pecan; and Pistachio and Pumpkin. The slices are held together naturally with the juice from the Mexican Blue Weber cactus and are supplied in boxes of three or packs of 24 slices.
