Healthier English breakfasts from Brakes

Brakes exotic fruit saladThe traditional full English breakfast needn't be unhealthy with Brakes Healthier Choices range.

Reduced-fat pork sausages (57g) are available in packs of 48, and the company also offers vegetarian Quorn sausages.

Fully cooked scrambled eggs are supplied in two 1kg cases, while trimmed and sliced rindless back bacon comes in 2.5kg packs. Baked beans with 30% less added salt and sugar come in cases of six weighing 2.6kg each. Other products include mushrooms and tomatoes.

For a lighter option, there's a low-fat Swiss Style Muesli with a blend of oat flakes, sultanas, almonds and hazelnuts, which comes in four 2kg bags.

The Brakes Fresh Fruit Salad comprises orange, mango, kiwi, Honeydew melon, watermelon, pineapple and black grapes in syrup solution.

Available in 2.5kg bags, the fruit salad can be served with Low Fat Natural Yoghurt or a selection of nuts. Whole hazelnuts, walnut halves, pecan nuts, chopped mixed nuts, pine kernels and pistachio kernels are all available in six 1kg bags.
