Vacuum food waste systems from Microvac - Hotelympia

The new Microvac food waste vacuum system from Meiko has been designed to help caterers meet new legislation on treating food waste while reducing the volumes - and so the costs - of dealing with smelly, rotting food.

The hygienic system grinds and mixes waste in the food waste inlet with water to product a liquid mass. This is sucked by a high-powered vacuum through a plastic soil pipe network to a liquid separator in the storage tank, where the water is extracted and the waste is discharged to a sealed tank that forms part of a specialist waste collection vehicle.
