EcoFuel XB

New waterless accessories join the line of cooking equipment for use with the EcoFuel XB (extended burn) chafing fuel launched last year, which returns with the newly granted endorsement of the Craft Guild of Chefs.

The green high-performance fuel combines the heat of a gel with the burn time of a wick in a fibre technology known as Encapcellon T, which provides longer cooking and warming times - up to five hours and 10 hours respectively - and easily relights for multiple uses.

It is made from biodegradable inert materials, said to be safe, odourless and non-flammable.

The new equipment - a hot/cold food pan and 14in hot/cold round tray - is designed to be used with EcoFuel XB without water, and to keep hot food hotter and cold food colder.
