Buffet chafer

A contemporary carving station and a choice of New Age chafing dishes will be launched by Alabama-based Buffet Enhancements International.

The 30in x 30in x 38in carving station is offered in solid brass or stainless steel versions and in a choice of international voltages.

Sold with a free carving set and cutting board, it features a lamp housing that curves over the platter at a height fixed to keep food at the perfect temperature and a heavy-duty acrylic granite Chefstone base with a raised rim to contain the juices.

The stainless-steel chafing dishes - available as 6.5-litre, square 5.5-litre and round 4.5-litre models - have glass lids that stop at 60° and 90° angles. Each comes with its own stand and fuel cup holder, with a push pin under the rim to lift the chafer for use on an induction plate or steam table.

Features include a multi-compensation button to ensure even heat distribution from any source, a drip pan for condensation, and an adjustable foot to level the dish.
