Spyro tablewareSpyro, an embossed range of tableware that won an award in the Food Service Equipment Reports' Smallwares and Tabletop competition in the USA last year, will  be launched by Steelite.

Curved lines are accentuated by a surface design inspired by British op art artist Bridget Riley that catches the light to create a 3D optical effect of highlights and shadows.

Spyro is made using Steelite's Distinction ceramic formula that combines the elegance of china with high resistance to thermal shock. It provides high heat retention, is safe to use in the microwave, dishwasher and freezer and carries a five-year edge chip warranty.

Other ranges to be unveiled at Hotelympia are the brainchild of Andrew Klimecki, Steelite's head of design.
