Gordon Ramsay won the best TV show prize for ``Kitchen Nightmares'' in the Observer Food Monthly awards despite provoking criticism in the Australian parliament because of the amount of swearing it contains.

Times are tough for restaurants on both sides of the Atlantic if the latest Waiter Rant is anything to go by.

Kitchen Rat revealed the whereabouts of pop superstar Michael Jackson last summer, which was in a UK hotel closer to home than you might think.
