Abode Manchester

Michael Caines’s restaurant at Abode Manchester has won praise from a critic that hated the group’s Canterbury offering.

But things have changed. Jay Rayner in the Observer suggests the lunch at Abode Manchester is “what must be one of the best bargains in the world of serious cooking available in Britain today”.

The critic states “every one of chef Ian Matfin’s dishes hits the mark” and asks “what else could you get for £12 that would give you this much pleasure?”
