The Sheriffmuir Inn, near Stirling and Dunblane, has sold to experienced publicans, Geoff and Moira Cook, for more than the asking price of £85,000. The couple plan to establish the business as a traditional tavern with an emphasis on quality food, drink and hospitality. The inn features a split-level bar and dining area, plus four bedrooms.
