Bertolli Baked Bites represent the latest bid by Burton's Foods to build Bertolli into a key player in the savoury snack sector.
Billed as a healthy alternative to rival propositions based on low fat, the new biscuit-based nibbles are baked with Bertolli olive oil and infused with Italian-inspired flavours.
The three launch flavours are Sweet Chilli and Red Pepper, Italian Cheese and Red Onion, and Sea Salt and Black Pepper.
They have just been launched into the supermarket sector in 30g bags, with catering packs set to follow shortly.
Since launching Bertolli Savoury Nibbles, Liguarian Flatbreads and Focaccia Crackers last year the new line has claimed a 5% slice of the savoury nibbles market.
