
London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 11.96% in the week ending 27 July, according to figures from hospitality research company STR Global.
Revpar increased to £124.34, up from £111.05 during the equivalent week of 2007.
Occupancy dropped by 0.11 percentage points to 86.56% but average room rate increased by 12.10% to £143.64 compared with £128.14 in the corresponding week of 2007.
STR Global is a new company formed from the merger of leading hospitality research firms Smith Travel Research (STR), Deloitte’s HotelBenchmark and The Bench.
