In response to an internal report called Pub Grub Made Easy, showing that more than 50% of kids prefer to pick and choose individual items from a menu rather than order a set dish, Moy Park Foodservice helped two Midlands pubs develop a mix-and-match menu based on a selection of the company's products.

For a set price, children could choose from a selection of mains, sides, accompaniments, a drink and a dessert to create any meal combination they wished.

Choices included non-fried whole-muscle chicken mini fillet, non-fried vegetable grill, chicken nuggets and mini doughnuts.

The reduced-fat whole-muscle chicken and chicken nuggets are coated in non flash-fried breadcrumbs and supplied in 2kg cases.

Vegetables and low-fat cheese are coated in non-flash-fried breadcrumbs to make the vegetable quarter pounder (110g), vegetable burger (57g) and vegetable nuggets, which are supplied in 4.4kg, 4.1kg +and 2kg cases respectively.
