Deep-pan brown pizza bases for pupils from La Pizza

La Pizza brown bases

Seen at this month's Local Authority Caterers Association conference and exhibition, La Pizza's deep-pan brown pizza bases have been developed especially with children in mind as they contain added Omega 3 oils and more than twice the fibre content of a regular white pizza, with 10% added bran.

Additionally, the salt level of La Pizza's brown bases is only 0.75%.

The bases are available in 12in or 16in rounds or 15in x 11in rectangles to help with portion control and are delivered frozen and part-baked ready to thaw, top and bake in the oven.

Besides pizza bases, La Pizza manufactures dough balls, "tear and share" garlic bread and Mediterranean speciality breads. A

ll products contain less than 1% salt and are made using natural ingredients and contain no preservatives or GM products.
