The new Purely Potato range from McCain is ideal for schools striving to achieve the primary and secondary school nutrient-based standards, providing a good source of iron, vitamin C, zinc and fibre.

As McCain Purely Potato is water-blanched, it is a starchy food that can be served without restriction.

Purely Potato products are part of the McCain Alternatives range, providing healthier versions of children's favourite products. They can be used as an ingredient in a wide range of popular favourites as well as an accompaniment to any meal. The Purely Potato range includes a wedge, slice, dice and a new roast.

McCain has also developed a free McCain Cool School Food recipe book, which provides school meal planners with menu ideas for every day of the week.
