
Holroyd Howe wins travel services and school contract
Independent group Holroyd Howe has won a one-year contract worth £266,000 in annual turnover with international travel services provider RCI Europe. The deal, which was taken over from Sodexho, will start on 19 September. It involves seven Holroyd Howe staff, who will feed 550 employees at RCI’s head office in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
Holroyd Howe has also won a five-year deal with independent girls’ school Brigidine School in Windsor. The contract will start in the coming term and turn over £110,000 a year. Six Holroyd Howe staff will supervise the project catering for 260 pupils and 80 staff.
Architect firm signs Charlton House
Independent caterer Charlton House has won a deal worth £2m in annual turnover with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) at its head quarters at Portland Place in London W1. The five-year contract started on 1 August and includes a team of 27 catering staff. Charlton House now manages the RIBA’s Café and Restaurant, which seats up to 250 people. Charlton House took over from Milburns.
Missing Ingredients wins Teddington Studios deal
Crown Group’s business and industry caterer Missing Ingredients has been awarded a one-year rolling contract with Teddington Studios in Middlesex. The contract will turn over £300,000 a year and seven members of catering staff will supervise the facility. Teddington Studios, which was recently bought by Pinewood Shepperton Studios, comprises an independent production facility and a digital widescreen television studio complex with staff ranging from 50 to 1,000.
Sodexho wins 10-year £1.5m contract with National Trust
Sodexho Prestige has won a 10-year contract with the National Trust to provide catering services at Ickworth House in Suffolk. The deal worth £1.5m in annual turnover will start in December, when the charity will open the west wing of the building, which will hold up to 220 delegates. A team of 50 Sodexho staff will work on the contract.
Dish scoops City venue deals
London-based event caterer Dish has won a contract for three new venues in the City- the Museum of London, the Museum of Docklands and the Ironmonger’s Hall. The one-year rolling contract, which started in mid-June, will turn over between £150,000 and £250,000 a year and employ between five and 50 catering staff. The Museum of London can host up to 1,000 visitors, while the Docklands Museum caters for up to 800 and the Ironmonger’s Hall up to 300 people.
