Jamie Oliver will open his third Fifteen restaurant in Watergate Bay, Cornwall, as exclusively revealed in Caterer last month.
The venue, which is due to open in spring 2006, will be located on the north Cornish beach and follows openings in Shoreditch in London, and Amsterdam.
It will share its location with the Watergate Bay hotel, which also runs the Extreme Academy sports academy.
The restaurant will take in ex-offenders and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Similarly to the other two sites, students will get training from top-end restaurants.
Jamie Oliver said: “It will be great to bring this type of training to another part of England, we hopefully will continue to open restaurants and inspire in many more areas that would benefit from having the foundation.”
Liam Black, director of the Fifteen foundation added: “The third Fifteen has to be iconic in its own right. There are high levels of unemployment amongst young people in Cornwall and few ways of them getting decent training.”
