Moët uncorks new look for its Champagne

Thursday 31 August 2006 00:00

Luxury drink producer Moët & Chandon has revealed a new look for its Champagne - marking the first redesign of the iconic brand in nearly 150 years.

Founded in 1743 by Jean-Remy Moët, in 1886 the company became the first Champagne house to decorate the top of the bottle with foil.

The new contemporary design is already available in the USA and will be launched in the UK this month. Moët hopes its new look will help win over more fans, especially 18- to 25-year-olds.
